A man and woman make phone calls

Want to help test a brand new phone service?

People with hearing loss are invited to help test a ground-breaking phone service before it goes live in the UK.  The testing will be done in London and those involved will be compensated for their time.

The testing is being done by Audacious, an exciting new phone company that is using the award-winning phone technology from UK innovator, Goshawk Communications.

The unique technology tailors the sound on mobile phone calls so it is suited to the individual hearing needs of the user.  This creates a clearer-sounding call, which has been shown to significantly help people with mild to severe hearing loss.

Details of the testing:

  • Will take place on 3rd April
  • Near St Martin’s Lane in Soho, London
  • Will take 30 minutes – you’ll be booked into an appointment time
  • Those with moderate to severe hearing loss especially welcome

You will be asked to supply a copy of an audiogram to check your experiences against what would be expected of someone with your hearing profile.   Strict data protection procedures will be in place.  There are limited places.

Want to help?   Please contact Ideas for Ears by Friday 29 March.  We supported the development of the technology and are still in touch with the company – hence our role in passing on information.
