International Journal of Audiology has published a paper on the clinical trials of the Goshawk mobile phone technology.
The paper was co-authored by Sally Shaw, founding director of Ideas for Ears. Lead author was Brian C J Moore, Emeritus Professor of Auditory Perception at the University of Cambridge.
Many people have been keenly waiting for this paper to emerge so they can learn more about the ground-breaking innovation and what it can do for people with hearing loss.
Sally was a the hearing of the clinical trials, having managed the trial participants and captured and analysed their experiences.
As the paper in the Journal reveals, there was clear evidence to suggest the technology improves clarity on mobile phone calls and reduces listening effort. The technology is a UK innovation and a world first.
